The OnePlus Nord CE 4, while not a groundbreaking device upon its release last year, was considered a commendable low-end mid-range smartphone, aside from its lackluster low-light camera capabilities. With the anticipated launch of its successor in May, new information about the forthcoming Nord CE 5 is starting to surface. A recent report has shed light on its essential specifications, and a leaked render has provided an initial look at the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 5.
According to a report by SmartPrix, a purported render of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 has been unveiled, showcasing the smartphone’s rear design. This design appears to be fresh and markedly different from its predecessors, the Nord CE 4 and Nord 4, although it bears some resemblance to the later-released Nord CE 4 Lite.

The render depicts the Nord CE 5 in a pink tone, featuring flat sides reminiscent of the Nord CE 4 Lite but with sharper edges. The dual-camera module is capsule-shaped, potentially evoking comparisons to the Apple iPhone 16, although the vertical arrangement of the dual-camera has been a hallmark of the Nord series for several years. Notably, the LED flash is now positioned outside the camera module, a change from the previous model, while the rear panel remains largely uncluttered aside from a centrally located OnePlus logo.
Previous reports suggest that the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will feature a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This time, OnePlus is rumored to incorporate MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor (4nm), paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone is expected to come equipped with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Additionally, it may boast a robust 7,100mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging.
