The CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to make its debut in India and globally on April 28. In advance of the launch, a company representative has revealed that this new device will come with an accessory not included with the original CMF Phone 1 — specifically, a charger. However, it is important to note that the charger will only be included in select markets, while most regions will receive just the phone and a charging cable.
Charger Supplied With the CMF Phone 2 Pro
A user on X (formerly Twitter) expressed enthusiasm for the inclusion of a charger in response to a post announcing the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s launch date. The user stated, “Please give charger in the box please please only Nothing can do it. we really need it.” In reply, Akis Evangelidis, co-founder and India President of Nothing, confirmed that the new handset will indeed include a charger.
“We heard you my man – giving it a go with CMF Phone 2 Pro in India,” he wrote, sharing an image that appears to show the interior of the retail packaging with a cutout for the charging brick.
This decision seems to be a direct response to feedback received following the CMF Phone 1, which did not come with a power adapter. That model supported 33W wired fast charging, but users had to purchase the Power 33W fast charger separately. Additionally, the Nothing sub-brand offers 65W GaN and 100W GaN fast chargers as standalone accessories.
However, the phrasing of Evangelidis’ response indicates that this charger inclusion may be limited to the Indian market, leaving open the possibility that units sold in other regions might still come without a charger.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be the second device introduced under the CMF sub-brand, following the launch of the CMF Phone 1 in July 2024. Accompanying the release of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be three new audio products: the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus.
