The Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are slated for launch in Singapore on March 27. While the Xiaomi sub-brand has yet to announce the timeline for the release of the standard Poco F7, a well-known tipster has indicated that it may debut in India soon. It is anticipated that the Poco F7 will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, similar to its counterparts, and feature enhancements compared to last year’s Poco F6 5G. Reports suggest that the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra may not be available in the Indian market.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) took to X to assert that the Poco F7 could make its Indian debut in either May or June this year. The device is rumored to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. The Poco F6 5G was also launched in May of the previous year and featured a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Poco announced recently that the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra will be unveiled on March 27 during a global event in Singapore. Scheduled to start at 8:00 GMT (1:30 PM IST), the event will provide insights into both models. Confirmed details indicate that the Poco F7 Pro will utilize a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the F7 Ultra will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, the standard Poco F7 has yet to be officially acknowledged by the brand.
Earlier rumors suggest that Indian consumers will only have access to the standard Poco F7, with reports indicating that the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra will not be launched in the region. Additionally, the standard model is believed to be positioned as an international variant of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.
Poco F6 5G Specifications and Pricing in India
The previous year’s Poco F6 5G featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels) and supported up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It included a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel 1/1.9-inch Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The device boasted an IP64-rated build and was equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supported 90W fast charging.
The Poco F6 5G was launched at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The versions with 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB of storage were priced at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 33,999, respectively.
