The Vivo Y300t is set to be launched in China later this month, alongside the Vivo Y300 Pro+. Ahead of this anticipated release, the company has shared details regarding the design, available colors, and key specifications of the forthcoming device. The Vivo Y300t bears a resemblance to the Vivo T4x 5G, which debuted in India earlier this month, leading to speculation about shared specifications. For context, the Vivo Y300 and Y300 Pro were announced in China in December and September 2024, respectively.
Vivo Y300t Launch: Key Information
Official announcements revealed that the Vivo Y300t will be launched on March 31 at 2:30 PM local time (12 noon IST). Pre-reservations for the device have already commenced on the Vivo China e-store. It will also be made available for purchase through platforms such as TMall and JD.com.
The JD.com listing for the Vivo Y300t showcases the handset in three color options: blue, grey, and purple. The design, visible on both the listing and the official website, is akin to that of the Vivo T4x 5G. A rectangular rear camera module located in the top left corner houses two squircle camera slots, a Dynamic Light, and an LED flash unit. The display features slim bezels with a slightly thicker chin and a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout at the top.
In addition, the TMall listing reveals that the Vivo Y300t will be equipped with a 6,500mAh battery, supporting 44W wired fast charging. According to a leaked promotional image, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, aligning with the specifications of the Indian version of the Vivo T4x 5G.
Should the Vivo Y300t launch with features similar to the Vivo T4x, it may include a 50-megapixel main rear camera, complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, it could boast an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, as well as a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification. The smartphone is likely to run on Android 15-based OriginOS 5, include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and feature a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display.
For reference, the Vivo T4x 5G was originally priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, with the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB versions listed at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively.
