In a new initiative to integrate AI capabilities into a broader array of applications, Google has unveiled enhancements for its financial platform, Google Finance. Announced on Friday, the company is currently piloting an upgraded version of Google Finance featuring a built-in chatbot powered by AI.
The upcoming changes, slated to debut in the US in the next few weeks, will allow users to pose finance-related inquiries to the chatbot, which will respond with AI-generated information and relevant links. Users can also expect improved charting tools designed to enhance financial visualization beyond mere asset performance, incorporating options to view technical indicators and candlestick charts.
The revamped Google Finance will feature a wider array of market data, including updates from more cryptocurrencies. Additionally, it will offer a “live news feed” that aims to keep users informed about the factors influencing the market on a daily basis.
For those who prefer the traditional experience, Google has stated that users will have the option to switch back to the classic version of Google Finance, providing flexibility for different user preferences.
