Qualcomm unveiled its cutting-edge automotive technologies during the Snapdragon for India Auto Day 2025 in New Delhi on Wednesday. The company presented the Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions, which include Snapdragon Cockpit, Snapdragon Ride, and Snapdragon Auto Connectivity. These solutions are designed to enhance telematics, cockpit integration, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a range of connected-car technologies specifically suited for India’s driving conditions.

Snapdragon for India – Auto Day 2025 Highlights

During the inaugural Snapdragon for India Auto Day 2025, Qualcomm showcased its safe and intelligent mobility solutions that aim to revolutionize the automotive and transportation sectors in India while enhancing the driver and passenger experience.

The centerpiece of the event was the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, a comprehensive suite of automotive solutions intended to support autonomy, connectivity, digital cockpit functionalities, ADAS, telematics, and additional connected-car platforms. This framework consists of four principal components: Snapdragon Cockpit, Snapdragon Ride, Snapdragon Ride Flex, and Snapdragon Auto Connectivity, alongside the Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud service.

Designed to foster immersive in-car experiences, bolster safety initiatives, and deliver advanced ADAS technologies, the Snapdragon Digital Chassis assists automotive manufacturers in developing vehicles that prioritize safety, customizability, immersion, and intelligence.

For two-wheeled vehicles, the Snapdragon Ride platform promises 4G, 5G, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity. It notifies riders about nearby charging stations, issues vehicle service alerts, facilitates roadside assistance, and helps prevent theft.

Qualcomm also highlighted its collaborations with well-known Indian automotive brands, including Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Royal Enfield, and Ultraviolette. Snapdragon chips have powered Maruti Suzuki vehicles since 2022, with the Baleno being the first model using this technology, and the upcoming e-Vitara set to include these advancements. On the other hand, Mahindra’s BE 6 and XEV 9e leverage Qualcomm’s sensing software and audio processing, integrated with innovative features from will.i.am’s RAiDiO.FYI and Melodic Drive.

Another significant feature showcased was Qualcomm’s Flex SoC—a commercial system-on-chip solution that integrates cockpit functionalities, driver monitoring, driver assistance, and autonomous driving capabilities within a single architecture. This technology enhances features such as infotainment, driver monitoring, computer vision, mapping, networking, and cybersecurity in vehicles.

Attendees witnessed over 120 demonstrations of various Qualcomm solutions that drive advancements in automotive technologies.
