Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 series within the next few months. The upcoming lineup is anticipated to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, each featuring significant hardware enhancements compared to their iPhone 16 predecessors. Notably, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to debut a revamped rear panel design alongside an updated camera module. Recently, a new batch of hands-on images has emerged online, showcasing the latest rear design.
Leaked Hands-on Images of iPhone 17 Pro Surface
A recent post by the tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) reveals the design of a dummy unit for the iPhone 17 Pro. The design remains consistent with earlier leaks, displaying a camera bar reminiscent of Google Pixel models, albeit wider in scale. The hands-on images illustrate a more expansive camera island on the rear, featuring sensors arranged in a triangular layout, akin to the iPhone 16 Pro, but extending across the full width of the device. The LED flash and LiDAR sensor appear to be relocated to the right side.
The color scheme of the iPhone 17 Pro dummy unit looks to be either grey or black, featuring a glossy camera panel paired with a matte finish for the rest of the rear casing.
Recent rumors regarding the iPhone 17 Pro’s design also suggest the incorporation of an aluminum frame and a repositioned Apple logo, potentially relocating it to a lower position on the phone’s rear panel to accommodate the new camera bar.
This new model is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display and is expected to be powered by the A19 Pro chip, along with 12GB of RAM. It may also include a new vapour chamber cooling system.
Apple is likely to present the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max during a scheduled event in September. This new series is also anticipated to introduce a standard iPhone 17 and a new iPhone 17 Air model, featuring a sleeker build designed to replace the iPhone Plus model.
