This special collection features three iconic titles: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. All users with a Netflix subscription can access these games free of charge. In a recent update from Rockstar Games, it was also revealed that those without a Netflix account can purchase the games on the Play Store or App Store to play on their smartphones.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Rockstar confirmed the availability of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on mobile platforms. The enhanced versions of these classic titles feature notable visual and gameplay enhancements, providing an updated experience for players.
Players can now download each of the three titles—Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas—individually on their smartphones. Among the array of improvements introduced, a new Classic Lighting mode has been highlighted, aimed at recreating “the look and feel of the sky in the original games.” The download links for these games were included in the announcement.
Previously, Netflix Games had hinted at the arrival of this gaming bundle. Alongside mobile platforms, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is accessible on various consoles, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
