The Realme 15 series is set to debut in India shortly. In anticipation of the launch, the company has unveiled two innovative artificial intelligence (AI) features that will be available across its entire lineup. The first feature, known as AI Edit Genie, allows voice-based photo editing, while the second, called AI Party, focuses on camera-based scene detection. The series includes the standard Realme 15 5G and the upgraded Realme 15 Pro, without the introduction of a more premium Pro+ model this time around.
Realme 15 Series to Get Two New AI Features
In a recent press release, Realme, the Chinese consumer electronics brand, announced the upcoming AI features tailored for the Realme 15 series. AI Edit Genie is designed to enhance the user experience with a simplified interface for photo editing directly on devices. Users will have the ability to execute intricate edits simply by using natural language voice commands.
Realme emphasized their motivation for developing this feature, which is to enable users to quickly and efficiently access various editing functions. With AI Edit Genie, users can instruct the AI to “add a makeup filter,” “smoothen my skin,” or “remove the tree in the background,” and the AI will respond appropriately while comprehending the context of the requests.
The second AI feature introduced is the AI Party, an advanced scene detection tool. This camera feature captures real-time data from the device’s camera feed to ascertain whether the user is at a concert, on a dance floor, or at a house party. Based on this information, the AI automatically fine-tunes camera settings, including shutter speed, contrast, and saturation, to optimize photo quality even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.
While specific specifications for the new smartphones have yet to be revealed, reports indicate that the Realme 15 5G may feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup along with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Although the official launch date for the Realme 15 series has not been confirmed, speculation suggests it could be scheduled for July.
