This January, PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium game catalogue welcomes a lineup of exciting new titles, led by the acclaimed Resident Evil 2. Available starting January 16, members in the higher tiers of PS Plus will join rookie officer Leon S. Kennedy on his first day at the Raccoon City Police Department, where he faces relentless hordes of zombies. This remake of the classic 1998 game offers an additional narrative route through the perspective of Claire Redfield, a college student searching for her missing brother amidst a dark conspiracy involving eerie experiments and powerful corporations. The game is accessible on both PS4 and PS5.
Embark on a whimsical adventure with Tiny Tina as you strive to thwart the Dragon Lord using a blend of bullets, magic, and extravagant loot in a tabletop RPG style. Players can select from six distinct classes to craft a custom character and mix skills for a tactical edge while exploring treacherous dungeons and ancient castles filled with danger. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands supports both online and local split-screen multiplayer and will also be available on PS4 and PS5. Additionally, Just Cause 3 allows PS Plus Extra and Deluxe members to create havoc across a vast Mediterranean island measuring 1000 km². Players can devise ingenious ways to take down their enemies, employing gadgets and weapons with a blend of creativity—from aerial bomb drops to stealthy reconnaissance using grapple hooks and parachutes.
In Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun, players hone their stealth skills to infiltrate imposing castles and hidden camps, undertaking intricate assassination missions while building trust with allies. Set in Japan’s Edo period, the game involves controlling five espionage experts, including a ninja and a geisha, to eliminate enemies and restore peace. Meanwhile, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong immerses players in modern-day Boston, where vampires secretly coexist with humans. Utilizing various strategies—intimidation, seduction, or stealth—players navigate the mystery of an assault on the secretive vampire society and dispel rumors of an ensuing power struggle. This title will be available on PS4 and PS5.
In LEGO City Undercover, players slide into a plastic uniform to unravel the machinations of the notorious Rex Fury, who is causing chaos in the city. Players can tackle car thieves, prevent crimes, and participate in thrilling chases while exploring over 20 unique districts, whether solo or in cooperative mode. Skating fans can enjoy Session, a realistic simulator merging ‘90s skate culture with contemporary gameplay. The game features extensive customization options and employs dual stick controls that mirror the player’s feet, enhancing the challenge of executing tricks with fluidity.
The comprehensive lineup, including these titles and more, was revealed on the PlayStation Blog, and will be available exclusively for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe members in January (note that PS Plus Deluxe is referred to as PS Plus Premium in select regions). The previous month’s offerings featured popular games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, and Metal: Hellsinger.

Additionally, January features new additions to the PS Plus Classics catalogue, exclusively for PS Plus Deluxe/Premium members, which includes Rally Cross, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, Legend of Mana, and Secret of Mana.
The PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription starts at Rs. 849 per month in India, while the Extra subscription is available for Rs. 749 per month.
