The Honor X9c is set to make its debut in India shortly, as confirmed by the company. This smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon. Initially unveiled in select global markets in November 2024, the Indian version is expected to feature a 108-megapixel primary rear camera, reflecting the specifications of its international counterpart. The Honor X9c is poised to replace the Honor X9b, which was launched in India in February 2024.
Honor X9c India Launch: Key Details
According to a recent post on X, the Honor X9c will soon arrive in India. While the exact date of the launch remains unconfirmed, it has been announced that the smartphone will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon, as noted in a company press release.
A dedicated Amazon microsite has been created for the Honor X9c, which indicates that the device has received SGS drop resistance certification. Additionally, it boasts an IP65M rating, offering dust protection and 360-degree water resistance, features that mirror its global model. The smartphone is designed with Honor’s Power Management System, which promises stable performance in extreme temperature settings. It measures 7.98mm in thickness and weighs 189g.
The Honor X9c will be powered by a 6,600mAh battery and will support 66W wired SuperCharge technology. In terms of camera capabilities, the phone will include a 108-megapixel main rear sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and enables 3x lossless zoom. The camera system will offer both optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), alongside AI-powered editing tools such as AI Erase and Motion Sensing.
Moreover, Honor has announced that the Indian iteration of the X9c will run on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. This smartphone will also feature a dual stereo speaker setup, which is said to produce sound that is 300 percent louder than typical devices. Display-wise, it will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness level of 4,000 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 3,840Hz.
In Malaysia, pricing for the Honor X9c starts at MYR 1,499 (approximately Rs. 28,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and MYR 1,699 (around Rs. 32,500) for the 12GB + 512GB model. The global version of the smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
