When compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears to feature a notably thinner profile, measuring between 3.9mm and 4.5mm. This reduction in thickness may also contribute to a lighter device, enhancing user ergonomics.
This information aligns with Samsung’s previous statements indicating that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 aims to be the “thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet.”

In another development, a retailer based in Finland has leaked the storage configurations for both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, revealing they will mirror last year’s offerings.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come in three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The color palette is likely to include Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow; however, the Blue Shadow option may not be available for the highest storage variant.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is projected to offer two storage capacities: 256GB and 512GB, with color options including Blue Shadow, Coral Red, and Jet Black.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, a more budget-friendly variant of the clamshell foldable, is anticipated to be available in 128GB and 256GB models, featuring basic black and white color options.
