Continuing the trend, PS Plus adds yet another entry from the Battlefield franchise with Battlefield 2042. Following the inclusion of Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 in preceding months, this latest title is the most recent major release before the series entered a hiatus. Initially, Battlefield 2042 faced significant backlash due to sweeping gameplay modifications and a complete overhaul of its traditional class system.
Moreover, the absence of a single-player campaign frustrated longtime fans of the Battlefield series. However, over time, EA has rolled out updates to restore some of the missing features and adjustments that displeased its community. Battlefield 2042 will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Another addition is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, where players assume the role of a new employee at Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria, navigating through various horror-themed minigames to survive the night. This sequel to the 2019 title initially launched as a VR experience before being adapted for the PS5.
