Nothing Phone 3 Leaks
In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), tipster Evan Blass revealed an alleged email from Nothing’s Chief Executive Officer Carl Pei. The subject line proclaimed, “2025: Nothing’s year of innovation.” Within the message, Pei discussed the company’s accomplishments over the past year, highlighting its emergence as the fastest growing brand in both the smartphone and audio sectors, as well as achieving a global user base of four billion.
According to Pei, Nothing has bolstered its workforce by increasing the size of its camera and software teams by 50 percent. The email outlined the company’s ambitious goals for 2025, including what it refers to as a “landmark” launch, which was later confirmed to be the Nothing Phone 3. This device will succeed the Nothing Phone 2 and is anticipated to release in the first quarter of 2025.
Although specific details about the flagship phone remain scarce, the email emphasized that the Nothing Phone 3 will serve as the company’s inaugural AI-driven platform. The company aims to achieve this through innovative breakthroughs in its user interface. Existing AI features, such as the AI-enabled smart drawer introduced with Nothing OS 3.0 last year, could lay the groundwork for these advancements.
The CEO articulated the company’s vision, stating, “We’re aiming at redefining the user experience of personal computing devices – creating technology that knows you, makes your life easier, and is present where you are. Technology that enables us to achieve our greatest creative potential.”
