Sony has recently lowered the price of its PlayStation 5 Pro during its ongoing Days of Play sale, but that’s not the only noteworthy deal available. The tech giant is also discounting a variety of accessories, including the premium DualSense Edge controller. Typically priced at $199.99, this customizable gamepad can now be purchased for $169 on platforms such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Sony until June 11th.

The DualSense Edge, a controller designed for professional gamers, may have a slightly shorter battery life compared to the standard DualSense model. However, it excels in software integration with the PS5 and offers a myriad of customizable features.

For those seeking a highly customizable gaming experience, the DualSense Edge is an impressive choice, providing seamless software integration with the PS5. Gamers can switch between up to four personalized profiles, each allowing adjustments to stick sensitivity and rear button functionalities. Additionally, it is easy to replace the stick modules, ensuring durability should they wear out over time. The adjustable rear triggers also enable precise control over pressing distance, enhancing response times in competitive gaming scenarios.

In addition to customizable features, the DualSense Edge maintains the haptics and adaptive triggers that distinguish Sony’s standard DualSense controller. It includes two types of rear paddles to cater to various grip styles. Plus, the charging cable comes with a locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnections during gameplay. Nevertheless, the Edge’s battery life is approximately eight hours in wireless mode, which is shorter than the original DualSense model—a trade-off for its enhanced capabilities.
