During the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, Microsoft unveiled three new configurations of the Xbox Series S and X consoles. The latest additions to the Xbox family include a 1TB SSD version of the Xbox Series S in a Robot White finish, an all-digital version of the Xbox Series X, and a Special Edition Xbox Series X featuring a 2TB storage capacity in a Galaxy Black design. These new models are expected to launch in select markets later this holiday season.
Details regarding the specific availability and pricing for different regions remain unclear. Microsoft stated, “Stay tuned for updates in the coming months where we’ll provide information about market availability and regional Estimated Retail Pricing (ERP) when we share pre-order details.”
All three new console variants will maintain the performance and speed characteristics of the current Xbox Series S and X models while introducing fresh designs, storage options, and price points. The all-digital Xbox Series X will have a lower price point compared to its disc-compatible counterpart.
Xbox Series S – 1TB in Robot White
Previously, the Xbox Series S was available with a storage capacity of 512GB and showcased in the Robot White colourway. In the previous year, Microsoft released a 1TB version of the console in Carbon Black. Now, the 1TB option is being introduced in the Robot White colourway, slated for sale in select markets at a price of $349.99/EUR 349.99 ERP. Pricing and availability in India have yet to be announced.

Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition
In last year’s trial between Microsoft and the US FTC, leaked court documents hinted at a digital version of the Xbox Series X. Microsoft has now confirmed the upcoming release of this all-digital variant. The digital edition will feature 1TB SSD storage and will be available in the Robot White finish, differing from the standard Series X models, which are currently sold only in Carbon Black. This edition is priced at $449.99/EUR 499.99 ERP, offering a lower cost than the disc version of the Series X, which retails at $499.99.
