Google has unveiled a new subscription service for its artificial intelligence offerings, introducing the “AI Ultra” plan priced at $249.99 per month. This tier provides subscribers with access to the company’s most advanced AI models, alongside the highest usage limits across various Google AI applications, including Gemini, NotebookLM, Whisk, and the newly launched AI video generation tool, Flow.
The AI Ultra plan allows users to experience the capabilities of Gemini 2.5 Pro, particularly its enhanced reasoning feature known as Deep Think, which is tailored for handling “highly complex” mathematical and coding tasks. Additionally, subscribers will gain early access to the Gemini tool within Google Chrome, enabling them to accomplish tasks and summarize content directly in their browser with the assistance of AI.

Subscribers will also have the opportunity to experiment with Project Mariner, a prototype research initiative from Google that has the potential to automate up to 10 tasks simultaneously, such as gathering information, making reservations, and purchasing items. Furthermore, the AI Ultra plan includes an individual subscription to YouTube Premium and provides up to 30TB of storage shared across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. The plan is currently available in the United States and will soon expand to additional countries.
In related news, Google has also enhanced its $19.99 per month AI Pro plan, which will now include access to Flow and Gemini in Chrome without any extra charges. This upgraded tier will initially be launched in the U.S. before becoming available to a broader audience.
