Recent leaks regarding the device’s dimensions provide insights into its design, indicating that it may be wider and taller than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new model is also anticipated to feature significantly slimmer bezels on the inner screen.
Anticipated Dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
A post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the user Ice Cat presents a comparison of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s dimensions against the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold SE, known as the Samsung W25 in China. The tipster, previously recognized as Ice Universe, is known for reliably leaking accurate specifications, particularly for Samsung products.
According to the leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to measure 158.4×143.1×3.9mm. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 measures 153.5×132.6×5.6mm, while the Samsung W25 (or Z Fold SE) has dimensions of 157.9×132.6×5.6mm.
If these dimensions hold true, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be both wider and taller compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold SE, while also being thinner when folded and unfolded.
This week, the tipster shared claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the thinnest foldable smartphone upon its release later this year. The device is projected to be 3.9mm thick when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded, surpassing the Oppo Find N5, which measures 4.21mm (unfolded) and 8.93mm (folded).

Additionally, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to sport a 1.2mm bezel on its outer display.
Previous reports suggest that both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are set to be unveiled in July.
